A 30-year entrepreneur, business consultant, and economics and marketing professor, Jeff Groob is respected by his peers and loved by his students for his simple style of speaking and his down-to-earth explanations of complex economic, marketing, entrepreneurship and workforce development topics.
Jeff Groob has founded and led companies within the complex technical and manufacturing areas and in marketing and advertising. He has served as an advisor for a major university, as board chairman for a community technical college and on the board of advisors for a private technical corporation.
Growing up in New York City, he brings his sense of humor and low key leadership style to his audiences, helping them achieve a mastery of complex subjects without them even knowing they’re getting it. A Magna Cum Laude graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo, College of Engineering, Groob relocated to Cincinnati to work for GE’s Aircraft Engine Group. Completing his Master of Business Administration in Finance at Cincinnati’s Xavier University, Groob began his entrepreneurial path with a small manufacturing software company before launching his own technology marketing and advertising company.
Groob recently served as a guest lecturer on ethics and decision making in the public sector at Northern Kentucky University. His lectures and topics include global economics, public board governance, marketing, entrepreneurship and growth strategies.
